At Shri Mann Madhwachary Education Academy, we firmly believe that a complete education extends beyond academic excellence to include a deep-seated sense of social responsibility. Our commitment to holistic development is reflected in our diverse range of social initiatives, designed to empower our students to become compassionate and proactive agents of change. Through student-led programs focused on community service, environmental stewardship, and social awareness, we engage with local challenges to create a tangible, positive impact. These initiatives provide our students with invaluable opportunities to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios, fostering the empathy, leadership, and civic-mindedness necessary to build a more equitable and sustainable future for all.
As a Legacy and now Tradition, Shrimann Madhwacharya Education Society has been hosting ‘warkaris‘ / pilgrims who do walk from various parts of interior karnataka on their journey to get ‘darshan‘ of Lord Vitthal in the temple situated at Pandharpur in Maharshtra.
The Society has been hosting these pilgrims for their night halt at Bagalkote during their journey… arrangements are made for around 2000 pilgrims for their stay and food during the stay… many sister organisations do provide health care/checkups to the needy during their halt in the premises of the Society…
Smt. Ushabai Malagi started the Note Book Binding and Production unit way back in early 1990’s….. The uniqueness of this initiative was to involve the destitute ladies from around Saundatti town in Belagavi district… These women not only found dignity but also means to return back to society and earn livelihood…
Carrying the legacy of her mother forward, Smt Madhura Anand started the teacher training programme under the aegis of Poornapragnya Language Labs…. Uniquely placed this programme focuses on pre-school and primary school teachers… with an aim to help teachers from teh schools in rural areas, this Phonics programme helps these teachers bring out the best from the students in their respective schools. It is heartning to see the appreciation from parents in villages, when they see their tiny-tots read and speak in fluent English language… A child reading a newspaper becomes a story and matter of pride for the parents of such 5-7 year old kids…
